A national initiative in Regional Development, we are a conduit between the community and government, building partnerships between all government levels and regional stakeholders to ensure local priorities and needs are heard.
The Orana region covers 25% of NSW and includes 13 local government areas, including the towns of Dubbo, Mudgee, Cobar, Gulgong, Coonabarabran, Bourke, Brewarrina, Coonamble, Gilgandra, Narromine, Walgett, Warren and Wellington.
RDAs run non-profit community-based organisations managed by committees, comprised of committed regional people representing the community, business and local government. Each RDA committee has a broad and diverse skills base and demonstrated networks and alliances, includes representative from all levels of government.
RDA committees have five key roles which ensure they achieve the following outcomes:

Promotion of Government Programs
Community and Economic Development
